The Rev. Caleb McGregor, Pastor
Pastor Caleb is an Ordained Elder in Full Connection within The United Methodist Church. He grew up in Mount Carmel in southern Illinois and attended Eastern Illinois University for piano performance and music composition. After answering the call to ordained ministry, he attended Garrett-Evangelical Theological Seminary in Evanston, Illinois, and, in 2016, received his Master in Divinity degree with a concentration in Congregational Leadership. He was ordained an Elder in 2019 by Bishop Frank J. Beard of the Illinois Great Rivers Conference. Pastor Caleb believes in the centrality of grace, mercy, and love at the heart of Jesus’ ministry, and that each person is loved, can love, and is loveable. We mature as disciples by the love of the Holy Trinity.
He is a brother in the Order of Saint Luke, a group of primarily United Methodist clergy and laity seeking the sacramental and liturgical life through personal spiritual formation guided by the Rule of Life and Service.
He is a Reconciling Pastor and has vowed to grow inclusivity and affirmation in all the areas of his life and ministry, including his congregation. As an Ally of the LGBTQIA+ community, his office is a safe and brave space.
Pastor Caleb has been at Port Edwards UMC since July 2021 and is in his 10th year of ministry.
